Approaching Fun Field Festival from the East? Well you will definitely be passing through Fernie, BC and it is well worth making a stop!
Fernie is a magical little pocket of BC surrounded by mountain views and every outdoor activity you can imagine from hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, river floating and more!
When it comes to spectacular nature, Fernie has it covered with trails accessing some of the most spectacular sites including Fairy Creek Falls which is a relatively easy return hike of just 4.6km from the Fernie Visitors Centre.

And while you are there, why not pop in and see the exact replica of the Fernie ammonite, a 150 million year old carnivorous cephalopod!

If adventure is calling on your trip to BC, go and see the team at Tunnel 49 - white water rafting, scenic floats, kayaking, paddle boarding, if it goes on the water, they have it covered!
With so much to do in Fernie, you are probably going to need a few days either side of Fun Field Festival to get the full experience.
