You may have caught a Dubconscious set at Shambhala (either on the Living Room Stage, in the Grove or at The Village), Bass Coast, Wicked Woods, Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival, WEMF (Ontario), Dragon Festival (Spain) or at any one of a number of prestigious nightclubs/venues across western Canada. Raised on amens, Reese basslines and ragga chat in Toronto's vibrant jungle scene, he now calls Nelson his home where he continues to weave cohesive sound tapestries coloured by his unique influences and handpicked sounds & styles - generally rooted in reggae / dub / soundsystem culture.

PAINT DEPARTMENT

Paînt Dēpårtmënt is a dynamic and energetic DJ duo based in Fernie, BC/unceded Ktunaxa territory, with members Straus and KG working hard to deliver only the best for their beloved friends and fans Their procured sound is characterized by their use of breaks and garage influences, with a focus on driving beats and pulsing rhythms often accented by heart wrenching harmonies. They love adding new layers to their favourite track selections with their signature long, overlapping mixing style creating a smooth and intricate symphony of sounds with every transition. 

DINGO STARR

Bringing cosmic energy to the Kootenays for two decades, DingoStarr is a staple in Fernie’s electronic music scene and culture. He thrives on bringing people together through organizing bush parties regularly, making him an essential pioneer in the Fernie rave scene that we know and love. Dingo has played Basshouse, Organic Ethno House and Psytech, although he is mostly known for Psytrance. The high energy, playful and galloping beat is sure to bring you on an unforgettable journey.

Introducing Philly Wonka. A versatile DJ hailing from the vibrant music scene of the U.K. With a mastery of a wide variety of genres including Drum & bass, jungle, dubstep, house, techno, hip-hop, funk, reggae and much more. Philly Wonka has been electrifying dance floors around the globe. From intimate club settings to festival stages, his diverse repertoire and seamless mixes blended in a fun and creative style create an unforgettable experience

DJ SASQUATCH

Representing INSURGENCY SOUND a Swiss/Canadian sound clash team and the recently formed DUBSIDE COLLECTIVE out of cranbrook, Sasquatch is a Vancouver born DJ and Promoter who moved to the Kootenays to raise his family and embed himself in the music scene. A lover of reggae music, you can always expect a blend of new and old sounds from classic roots to modern dancehall with a healthy sprinkle of custom Dubplates for added flavour.
